Closed Lite has no AI. Closed Pro adds the AI tutor, the sources with page citations and the teacher's assignments. Closed Pro opens and verifies Closed Lite work; Closed Lite does not open Closed Pro work.

It does not analyse the text: it records how it was written and what the AI was asked. If someone copies another text by hand, the rhythm and the pauses in the replay can give it away.
The submission carries the assignment inside. Closed Pro compares it with the assignments created on the teacher's computer and says whether it matches.
Yes. When saving, choose the hand-in PDF: it opens in any viewer and carries the signed .closedpro inside, with the AI conversation, so the teacher can verify it with Closed Pro and mark it on the PDF itself. Word or text copies, on the other hand, carry neither the signature, the record nor the conversation.
Closed Pro detects it on opening: the status turns red, «Document tampered with», and the document opens read-only.
